OVUUSD SEEKS SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS - The Otter Valley Unified Union School Board is looking for interested parties to be appointed to the Whiting and At-Large representative seats on the board. The appointed school board member for the Whiting seat must be a resident of Whiting. The appointed individual for the At-Large seat may be a resident of any OVUUSD town, including Brandon, Leicester, Goshen, Pittsford, Sudbury and Whiting. Appointed school board members would serve through to the next election in March 2025, at which time they would be required to run and be elected to complete the remaining year of the term. Neshobe third grade students in Monica Keith's class recently completed a retelling of "The Grasshopper and the Ants " using puppets. Laura King, RNESU Instructional Coach, assisted in this three-week long small group literacy project. Students developed their expressive reading skills and learned about puppetry arts and videography.
