This is an update following last evening's notification of a school delay. Due to the road conditions and timing of the storm, there will be no school today, December 11, 2023 in RNESU schools. Stay safe and stay warm.

Students at OCA have been working hard to demonstrate this month's character trait of 'Caring'. Students were rewarded for their hard work by getting to slime Mr. Crane at this morning's school circle!
Marsha Bruce, RNESU's Director of Special Services, was featured in today's edition of the Brandon Reporter. The profile features many of the great things that Marsha has done for RNESU over the years, and the relationships that she has cultivated. In the profile, Superintendent Hubert says about Marsha, "[she] is one of those rare individuals who are known not only for their commitment and drive, but also for their kindness and generosity. She is quick to help others, but even quicker to offer a smile, a hug, or a colorful anecdote to brighten someone’s day".

SEEKING LETTERS OF INTEREST - The OVUU School Board is in search of community members who are interested in joining the board. There are two vacant board seats available: 1) Brandon Representative and 2) Pittsford Representative. The individuals appointed to these positions must reside in the respective towns and will serve until the next election in March 2024. Letters of interest must be submitted by Thurs. Nov. 2 to Melinda Piper at mpiper@rnesu.org stating which seat you would like to be considered for and explaining why you would be a valuable addition to the Board. The Board will make a decision during the OVUU School Board meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, at 6:00 PM. The meeting will take place at the OVUHS Library.
