Thanks to all who came to the Pancake Breakfast! It was a huge success and a good kick off to the 2016-2017 school year. We are excited about all of the changes that we've made at the school. Our "Community Room" is a great space and has already proved to be a valuable space.

Our first expedition is "The Community of Leicester, Yesterday and Today. We have already had our "kick off" that involved community members coming in answering questions about their occupations. We had a fireman,a carpenter, a former store owner, the town clerk, an organic farmer, and others who were all residents of Leicester. We will be looking at the history of Leicester as well as the current town. We will attend many field studies as well as having various people, from the community, visit our classes. The key to our expedition will be integrating as many core curriculum areas into our project.
